This is the last song in my Protest EP. It's the title track. I can only hope now that on November 3rd, we'll have the votes we need to remove Donald Trump from his stolen seat. Maybe then we'll start to see a wave a love sweep over the nation. Maybe then we'll wake up from this heavy depressing fog that has been the last 4 years. Maybe it will all have been a dream. I know that's naive, but one can hope.

All proceeds from this recording will go to the Black Voters Matter Fund (blackvotersmatterfund.org) whose goal is to increase power in marginalized, predominantly Black communities. Effective voting allows a community to determine its own destiny. "We agree with the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. when he said, “Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”
